Operations to Pitch Segments… 

-          Transpose  – Add constant integer to each pitch in original Prime Segment (subtract 12 if larger than 12).  The resulting pitch-interval sequence will be identical to the original.

-          Retrograde – Same pitch classes as original Prime Segment, but in reverse order.

-          Inversion – Replace each pitch class with its inversion (what number adds to it to equal 12), then transpose the entire set if you want it to start on the same pitch as the original P

-          Retrograde Inversion – Do the Inversion first, then reverse the order of the resulting Inversion segment

NOTE: (whenever you come combine these, you should do them in the following order Invert happens first, then transpose, then retrograde)
