-          A three phrase period can exist if the three phrases go together, and the cadences are weak, weak, strong

-          A double period is one made up of four phrases that go together, each with a cadence, and the strongest cadence must definitively be at the end of the double period.  Therefore, a PAC could not appear as the cadence of the first three phrases.

-          A typical cadence order of a double period would be (IAC-HC, IAC-PAC)
