Music Theory QuickThink: 

- Gr6 chords serve a predominant function and resolve to a dominant functioning chord (usually the V chord)

- b6 (le) resolves down to scaled degree 5 and #4 (fi) resolves up to scale degree 5

- ‘do’ and ‘me’ (or 'ri' in major keys) voices move to the other pitches of the V chord in a manner that avoids parallel 5ths and octaves

NOTE: Gr6 chords often move to a Cadential 6/4  (V 6/4—5/3) , rather than directly to V 5/3 to avoid unwanted parallel motion
